What print shop management software does

Print shop management software is the system a decorated apparel shop uses to run its orders from first enquiry to final payment. At a minimum it handles quotes, orders, artwork approvals, production tracking and invoices. Many products add online stores, a customer portal, purchase orders for blanks, supplier catalogues, shipping and accounting links. The right choice depends on where your orders come from, how many people work in the shop, and whether you sell in the UK, the US or both.

What to look for

  • Pricing: price matrices for your methods, such as colours for screen printing and stitch counts for embroidery, so quotes are quick and consistent.
  • Artwork approval: proofs customers approve online, with every version kept.
  • Production: a board or calendar showing what is due, plus job tickets for the floor.
  • Purchasing: purchase orders for the blanks each job needs, ideally linked to supplier catalogues.
  • Selling online: team stores, company stores, a website or an online designer, if you sell that way.
  • Money: deposits, invoices, online payments, and a link to QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Your country: UK shops need VAT, pounds and UK carriers; US shops need sales tax and US carriers.
  • Getting your data in and out: imports from your current system and exports if you ever leave.

The main options in November 2026

Below is a fair summary of each product as described on its own website when we checked in November 2026. Features change, so confirm details and current pricing with each vendor. We make Dyenzo, so read our own entry with that in mind.

Printavo

Printavo is shop management software for decorated apparel shops. Its site describes building quotes with garments, decoration, quantities and pricing and sending them in one click, customer approval of artwork from a single link, a drag and drop production calendar called Power Scheduler, tasks and notes on every job, invoicing from the job, online payments and full order history per customer.

DecoNetwork

DecoNetwork combines online stores and websites with shop management. Its site lists branded stores where customers personalise and order products, managing many customer stores from one platform, grouping store orders into batch production runs, quotes and orders with artwork approvals, a production calendar, and supplier catalogues. It names screen printing, embroidery, DTF, DTG and sublimation among supported methods, and lists Australia, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States as regions.

InkSoft

InkSoft describes itself as an e-commerce platform for custom branded merchandise. Its site now presents it under the Taivo brand, and lists Printavo and OrderMyGear as related Taivo brands. Check its product pages for the current feature list.

OrderMyGear

OrderMyGear is aimed at distributors, decorators and dealers of branded merchandise. Its site lists product search across suppliers, business websites, online stores including company, pop-up, redemption and print-on-demand stores, interactive presentations, order management across sales channels, supplier product data in the PromoStandards format and integrations through APIs.

shopVOX

shopVOX serves several industries, not only apparel: its site lists apparel decoration, signage and large format, digital and offset printing, and custom manufacturing. It covers quoting, job management with drag and drop status changes, online proof approval, online payments through Stripe, Square or shopVOX Pay, and invoice sync with QuickBooks, Xero and Sage. It suits shops that do signs and print as well as garments.

ShopWorks OnSite

ShopWorks OnSite is business management software with detailed features per decoration type. Its site lists a size matrix, design and artwork management, job costing and price calculators, production scheduling and tracking, plus screen printing details such as ink colour and mesh count and embroidery details such as stitch count, backing and hoop size. It names screen printers, embroiderers, digital printers, awards companies and promotional products distributors among its users.

YoPrint

YoPrint is built for print shops and apparel decorators. Its site lists sales orders that create job sheets with QR codes, purchase orders and invoices synced to QuickBooks, a customer portal, a visual production scheduler, a pricing engine for screen printing, DTG, embroidery and more, inventory across locations, barcode tracking and a mockup creator. Integrations listed include S&S Activewear, SanMar, Stripe, Square, PayPal, QuickBooks Online, Shippo, Shopify and Zapier.

Teesom

Teesom is business management software for apparel decorators doing screen printing, embroidery, DTG, DTF and heat pressing. Its site lists vendor catalogue and stock checks, real-time purchase orders, three-tier pricing by turnaround, online payments through several gateways, QuickBooks Desktop or Online, a job board and calendar, and a customer portal. It offers a free version limited to one user and 20 new orders a month, with paid plans above that.

GraphicsFlow

GraphicsFlow is not a full shop management system. It focuses on artwork: cloud storage for customer art, a library of vector templates and fonts, online art approvals that work on mobile, and a simple editor for text and colour changes. Shops often use it beside their main system.

Dyenzo

Dyenzo is one system for decorators in the UK and US. It covers quotes priced from your own matrices, proofs customers approve online, a production board with job tickets and barcode scanning, purchase orders for blanks, invoices with UK VAT or US sales tax, card payments to your own Stripe account, and QuickBooks or Xero. It also includes team, company and fundraising stores, a website builder, an online designer, a 3D kit designer for sublimated teamwear, automatic DTF gang sheets and a Shopify app. Dyenzo is in preview, and it can import customers, products and orders from DecoNetwork, Printavo and InkSoft export files.

How to choose

  • List where your orders come from today: walk-ins and email quotes, online stores, your website, or other decorators.
  • Book demos with two or three systems that match, and bring a real job to price in each.
  • Ask how the software handles your country's tax, currency and carriers.
  • Check what it costs as you grow: extra users, stores, fees on store sales and add-ons.
  • Ask how you get your data out if you leave.
  • Use the free trial on real work, not sample data.

Questions

Is there free print shop management software?

Some vendors offer a free tier with limits. Teesom, for example, lists a free version for one user and a limited number of orders a month. Check each vendor's current terms.

Which software is best for team stores?

Look for stores with open and close dates, player packs, names and numbers, fundraising and one production batch when the store closes. Several options in this list sell online stores; compare how each handles those points.

Can I move my data from my current system?

Usually yes, through CSV exports and imports. Ask the new vendor which systems it imports from and what comes across: customers, products, orders and art.

Does the software need to know my country?

Yes. UK shops need VAT on invoices, pounds and UK carriers; US shops need sales tax by state and US carriers. Check this before you commit.
